Happy Earth Day! April News from Clark County Green Neighbors

Happy Earth Day! April News from Clark County Green Neighbors

April 2024 ‍

Hello ,

Earth Day is almost here! The theme for this year's Earth Day is "Planet vs. Plastics." We encourage you to celebrate that message by embracing reuse and reducing the amount of single-use plastics going to landfill.

There are several events scheduled to take place in our community over the next week to help us celebrate the planet and remind us to be good stewards of the resources we use. Read on to learn more about community Earth Day events and catch up on the lastest Green Neighbors updates.

Best wishes,

Green Neighbors

Thanks for Joining Us for Food Waste Prevention Week!

This year, food waste prevention week was April 1-7.  Clark County joined over 700 organizations that partnered with the week-long international campaign to fight food waste.  Many food waste heroes in our community participated by attending our "Cooking with Leftovers" event, watching our food waste prevention podcast on Youtube and by taking action to prevent food waste.
