18th Annual Small Acreage Expo
Clark County, WA – The Small Acreage Program of WSU Clark County Extension invites the community to the Eighteenth Annual Small Acreage Expo.
This year’s Small Acreage Expo offers a variety of topics including workshops on wildfire preparedness, mud and manure management, grazing field demonstration, septic system maintenance and financial, protecting soil and water, no-till drill seeding demonstration, meadowscaping, and more. Throughout the day, participants can peruse educational booths to learn more about local organizations and agencies serving the small acreage community.
According to Terry Koper, Small Acreage Program Coordinator, “Each year oursmall acreage community comes together at the Expo to meet one another and learn valuable tips about land and water stewardship. It’s a great opportunity to discover local resources and learn new practices to improve your land, which can save people money and help protect the land and water we depend upon.”
Early bird registration by May 3rd is $20 and includes lunch, or $12 without lunch. Then through noon May 16th registration is $25 (lunch included)/$15 (no lunch).
